A PARK in Dewsbury will host a day of family entertainment and activities.
A World Together will take place in Crow Nest Park in Dewsbury on Sunday July 19.
The event is set to include an enchanted forest which will offer a magical escape for young and old. Visitors will be able to make decorations for the forest at one of many craft stalls.
A walled secret garden will be transformed into a storytelling garden for the day.
The dance space will feature everything from jive and line dancing to salsa and Indian dancing with opportunities for the audience to join in.
There will be an interactive washing line where people are invited to bring their own items of clothing from around the world to hang up.
Satellite arts group will then perform songs about the different types of clothing.
As part of the event, there will be a Dewsbury’s Got Talent competition which is designed to showcase Dewsbury’s most talented youngsters. Entrants must be aged between 7 and 16 in order to enter, or have a band where most members are under 19 in order to compete in Live Bands.
