Honley home targeted by gang of four

One of the suspects is described as a man of mixed race, 5ft 8ins of stocky build wearing a blue jacket.

Another is said to be a white man, 6ft, of stocky build with shaven hair and was wearing a white T-shirt.

Residents living nearby said police were at the Roundway semi-detached property most of Wednesday and were seen there again yesterday.

One man, who asked not to be named, said: "There was a lot of police activity here which to be honest we don’t get that often."

"The police have come and gone, it shows they’re looking into it I suppose but I’m not reassured it won’t happen again as no-one can say why it happened."

Another woman who also lives nearby added: "It’s frightening, I think people are too frightened to ask questions and get involved so just keep their heads down.

"I’ve lived in Honley 20 years and never known anything like it before."
