A FOUR-YEAR-OLD boy is “devastated” after thieves stole his pet rabbit.
Former show rabbit Muck was taken from Vicki Marshall and her son Cian’s garden in Almondbury on Wednesday night.
Vicki said: “We went to bed on Wednesday and when we woke up the rabbit had gone, simple as that.
“I’ve no idea at all about who would do this. Cian is devastated.
“You expect your pets to be safe outside.”
Muck was taken along with his hutch and Vicki, 22, thinks the thieves carried the hutch straight into a vehicle parked outside her gate, as a trail of sawdust ended abruptly there.
She said: “Muck is a big rabbit and it’s a decent-sized hutch so it would have taken at least two people to pick it up and carry it away.
