Newborn alpaca Lulu attracts crowds at Netherton farm

“She seems very healthy and was up and about within about half an hour, which was a very good sign.
“We’ve had a lot of people coming down from the village to have a look and congratulate the mother.
“They’re both doing well.”
Lulu will feed from her mother for the next six months before she is weaned.
She is now one of three alpacas at the site – which is also home to other animals including goats, pigs, wallabies and chickens.
The South American alpacas are owned by Sally Barber from Spectrum Alpacas.
