TUES AM: 1,000 cannabis plants found in Thornton Lodge

AROUND 1,000 cannabis plants were seized when police executed a drugs warrant at a house in Bulay Road in Thornton Lodge, Huddersfield.

On Monday, Neighbourhood Policing Team officers seized plants with an estimated street value of almost £300,000 following information from a member of the public.

Electrical equipment and drugs related paraphernalia were also removed from the property and enquiries are now ongoing to trace the occupants.
