Cathedral House book shop named retailer of the year

A CHURCH book shop has been named among the best in the country.

The Cathedral House books and crafts shop at St Thomas’s Road has been given an award by Crown Retailer who named it joint best retailer of the year.

Manager Rosa Lewis said: “We have been doing fantastically since we opened – I’ve had people from Manchester and north Scotland come here saying they’d heard all about it.

“It’s a great achievement for us.”

The award was presented by Richard McChesney of the International Bible Society.
