He also targeted victims in Bradford Road, St John’s Road at Birkby and Whitehead Lane, Primrose Hill.
When he appeared in court in Nottingham, he was described as one of the most vicious robbers on Crimestoppers’ most wanted list.
He was captured after he fell from a roof when overcome by cold.
In total, Batticks attacked 21 people and tried to rob another three after escaping from police as he waited to be deported to Jamaica.
At Nottingham Crown Court, he was given an indefinite sentence for public protection. He must serve at least five years before he can apply for parole.
Judge Andrew Hamilton told Batticks: “You said you did it to pay someone back for drugs, but nothing can justify your disgraceful and wicked conduct.”
Batticks had been released early from a seven-year sentence for breaching a prison licence and robberies.
He was due to be deported, but escaped to Huddersfield and began robbing there.
Police have confirmed that Batticks came to the UK from Jamaica but overstayed his visa.
He is now likely to be deported back to the Caribbean.
