Rock-ing walkers

ROCKS and landscapes are the subject of walks at two of Huddersfield's natural attractions.

On Saturday July 18 is the area around Castle Hill, Sheila Dyson will lead a two-mile walk using the two trails developed by the West Yorkshire Geology Trust.

It starts at 2pm and the meeting point is the lay-by at the bottom of Castle Hill on Lumb Lane.

On Sunday July 19, Sheila will lead a short walk looking at the interesting rocks and features in Beaumont Park. This starts at 1.30pm, meeting at the gatehouse on Beaumont Park Road.
