ATTACK victim Chris Thomson has flown home.
The Aussie cricketer, badly hurt in a nightclub attack, is back home in Perth with his mother.
But Thomson, who had been brought over to play for Clayton West in the Drakes League this summer, faces months of rehabilitation treatment.
Doctors have to give him intensive speech therapy and his still faces medical treatment on the serious head and brain injuries he suffered in the assault.
A 31-year-old Leeds man arrested in connection with the attack remains on police bail.
Thomson, 26, was attacked on Sunday, June 14, and required treatment at the high dependency unit at Leeds General Infirmary.
