Man taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary after crash in Ashbrow

A DRIVER suffered head and spinal injuries in a crash in Ashbrow.
Police had to close a section of Bradford Road after two cars collided near the Ashbrow pub.
A Ford Mondeo and a Seat Ibiza crashed at the junction of Netheroyd Hill Road on Wednesday evening.
A lamppost was knocked over after being hit by the Seat, which ended up in the central reservation.
The driver, a man in his 30s, had to be cut from his car and taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary.
The driver of the Ford, also thought to be in his 30s, was not badly hurt.
