Knife carrier caught in police arch operation at Dewsbury

ONE man was arrested for carrying a knife and two for alleged immigration offences in a police operation at Dewsbury Bus Station.
Officers working with transport authority Metro as part of an anti-social behaviour crackdown set up knife arches at the entrances to the station.
A man was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon.
UK Border Agency officials picked up two men for alleged immigration offences.
Four people known to police were also stopped and spoken to.
More than 1,000 people passed through the arches during the two-day operation.
