Stevie Cameron death party brawl seven in court

SEVEN young men have appeared in court charged in connection with a brawl at a party where their friend Steven Cameron died.

Yesterday at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court the men were each charged with the offence of public order and violent disorder.

The charges arose out of an incident at a house party at Tintern Avenue, Milnsbridge.

Stevie Cameron, 22, was badly injured in a brawl at the party and later died in hospital.

Last month, there was surprise when prosecution authorities decided no-one would face charges directly relating to his death.

Yesterday, seven men who were arrested in the aftermath of the party appeared in court.

All were granted bail after a brief hearing.

The seven accused are: Harry Castledine, 21, of Willwood Avenue, Oakes; his 29-year-old brother Benjamin James Dollive, of the same address; Andrew James Francis Lynch, 18, of Eldon Road, Marsh; Dale McClean, 21, of Greenfield Avenue, Oakes; Richard James Mosley, 27, of Weymouth Avenue, Oakes; Dale Andrew Smith, 23, of Willwood Avenue, Oakes; and Michael Sharpe, 20, of Longwood Road.
