Elland youngsters lap up the big day atmosphere

PROUD young rugby stars from Elland’s Brooksbank School will do a lap of honour at Wembley tomorrow.

They will be there having reached the final of the Powergen Schools Cup.

The team, formed only two years ago, were to meet a team from Standish, Wigan, later today in the final at RAF Uxbridge and both teams will then enjoy tomorrow’s Carnegie Challenge Cup Final and a pre-match parade.

Coach Damian Ball said: “They have won seven games to get here and it’s a great feat.”
