ALANNA Delahaye, who is fighting to restore full maternity services to Huddersfield, said she was shocked by the baby stories from Calderdale.
Alanna and her partner Glynn Bates, of Golcar, have spearheaded the maternity fight.
They lost their daughter, Maisie Bates, last September after last-minute complications with the pregnancy.
They launched their campaign after Maisie’s death and are now expecting another child, due next month.
Alanna, said: “Surely the powers that be must see that the decision to move our services is not only putting mothers and babies in danger but causing unnecessary trauma to their families.
“What is it going to take to make them hold their hands up and say they were wrong?
“I’m expecting my second child and I only hope they have the facilities to provide the level of care needed for me and him.”
