THE new-look for the former Woolworths store will be unveiled to Huddersfield shoppers tomorrow.

Major high street names Ethel Austin and Au Naturale have moved into the Victoria Lane store, bringing 22 new jobs with them.

The 15,000 sq ft store is acting as a combined store for the well-known fashion chain and its interior retailer partner.

The Huddersfield shop is one of a number of former Woolworths stores across the UK to have been taken over by the Liverpool-based company since the high street chain collapsed earlier this year.

Leading retail entrepreneur Elaine McPherson, who bought the Ethel Austin chain last summer and teamed the brand with the interiors range, will open the store.

Marketing manager Janet Cahill said “It’s all about providing the right product at the right price.”

The new-look store opens its doors at 11am.
