Diwali celebrations at Sikh Leisure Centre
THE festival of Diwali was celebrated at Huddersfield Sikh Leisure Centre.
The Hindu festival of lights celebrates the victory of good over evil.
Elderly members of the drop-in centre enjoyed a meal and traditional sweets to mark the occasion.
The group of 16 included Clr Mohan Sokhal, who is also chairman of the Sikh Leisure Centre in Prospect Street.
