Burglars steal pregnant woman’s car and drive at half-naked husband

Lorna, 30, who runs Lorna Stewart Hair, Elland, has been left badly shaken by the raid.

Mrs Pearson said: “It was horrible. I’ve spent all today crying. I had to have yesterday off work and I’ve been a wreck.

“I don’t feel safe in my own house. I couldn’t sleep all last night and I’ve got my own business to run.

“I’m due to give birth in four weeks and I’m gutted I haven’t got a car take my new baby out of the hospital.

“They’ve obviously watched and planned it.

“I had to go to hospital yesterday to check myself out. I was worried the stress would make me go into labour early.”

The couple’s car is a blue Focus ST, registration YD07 EBM. The getaway car is another Ford Focus, with the registration starting YG08.

There were three raiders, one of which was about 5ft 6in and wearing a dark blue top, gloves and blue jeans.
