SPAR stores raise cash in West Yorkshire

SPAR stores across West Yorkshire held all manner of fearsome fundraising events over the Hallowe’en weekend, in aid of children’s charity the NSPCC.

Staff took part in a variety of activities from spooky fancy dress to organising a cake sale.

John Hodgson, Retail and Development Director, of Spar wholesalers James Hall & Co Ltd, said: “The partnership with the NSPCC is proving to be a huge success and we are delighted with the money raised so far.

“Our stores really enjoy hosting fundraising events, and helping such a worthy cause.”
