£20,000 boost for one lucky Huddersfield Town fan

Academy manager and former Town player Graham Mitchell said: “The money we receive from the Blue and White Foundation is a significant part of the academy’s annual income and it helps us to continue to attract and produce players for the future.”

Last year’s draw saw 20-year old Daniel Mozley – who joined the Foundation only in January 2008 – win the £20,000 first prize.

His mum, Alison Haigh, said: “It goes without saying that we were delighted – and very surprised – when we found out we had won.

“We had been coming to the matches for a few seasons and joined the BWF because we wanted to give something back to the club, so to win such a fantastic amount was a real bonus.

“We have used the money to put down a deposit on a new house.”

Other benefits of the scheme include an exclusive Huddersfield Town top that is not available to buy in the shops, exclusive members’ evenings and events and chances to be a Huddersfield Town mascot.
