Yorkshire Regiments form guard of honour for Huddersfield Town
MILITARY drummers formed a guard of honour as Huddersfield Town’s players took to the pitch on Saturday.
Four members of the Yorkshire Regiment stood by the touchline as the Terriers ran out for their match with Wycombe Wanderers at the Galpharm Stadium.
Twenty former servicemen’s groups were invited to Saturday’s game – which Town won 6-0. There was also a bucket collection at the match for the wounded soldiers’ charity Help for Heroes.
