Car ends up on its roof in rush-hour crash on M62

A CAR crash caused rush-hour tailbacks on the M62 yesterday.

 A silver Mazda 3 series ended up on its roof after colliding with a navy blue Volkswagen van on the eastbound carriageway. The accident happened around 5.30pm between Junction 25, Brighouse, and Junction 26, Chain Bar. Watch manager Andy Medlock was among the firefighters at the scene from Brighouse. He said: “The drivers were out of their vehicles. They were shaken up and had seatbelt injuries.”
