Get ready for the big Huddersfield's Christmas switch-on!

The competition was organised by the West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust which plans to build a children’s respite centre and hospice in Brackenhall.

As a prize, Denon performed at a Forget Me Not Trust charity football match with the cast of TV soap Hollyoaks at Belle Vue Stadium, Wakefield, in October.

Other entertainment includes an appearance from Huddersfield Giants players old and current.

4.45pm: The roadshow starts

5.25pm: Denon James, young winner of Forget Me Not Factor talent contest, will show off his skills.

5.35pm: La Musica duo will sing songs from musicals and opera.

5.45pm: Huddersfield Giants will appear with two current players, two veteran players and their mascot Big G.

5.55pm: Tom Milner from BBC drama Waterloo Road will sing three songs.

6.05pm: Kirklees Council leader Clr Mehboob Khan will speak on behalf the council.

6.10pm: Huddersfield MP Barry Sheerman will introduce Patrick Stewart.

6.15pm: Patrick Stewart will switch on the Christmas lights.
