Sing along with Eorl Crabtree
EORL Crabtree is tuning up for the start of his testimonial year.
The Huddersfield Giants star will be belting out the numbers with team-mates past and present at Huddersfield Town Hall to mark his 10 years at the club.
The England international said: “I wanted to kick-off my testimonial year with a good event that everyone can relate to. It should be very entertaining.”
The event, on Tuesday, December 1, dubbed the Rugby League Factor, will include performances by Eorl’s former team-mates Stanley Gene, Chris Thorman, Paul Reilly and Jeff Wittenberg. Current Giants players Kevin Brown, Luke Robinson and Andy Raleigh will also sing.
Eorl said: “Jeff was really good in rehearsals – he really got into it – but the rest of us aren’t great singers.”
The first half will feature Giants’ supporters with the second half starring Eorl and rugby players past and present.
Eorl is to sing Hi Ho Silver Lining.
The Rugby League Factor is inspired by ITV1 hit show The X Factor. Eorl said: “I enjoy watching the show. The early stages are quite funny – I think that’s what our performances will be like.”
