The Rugby League Factor is the first event in Eorl’s testimonial year. The 27-year-old prop said: “We’re going to have one event each month, including a golf day.”

Eorl added: “It’s really weird getting my 10 years in – it’s making me feel old – I’ve been there such a long time. I started as a safety steward and did work experience there as well.

“I’m very proud to have played for so long and I’ll be around for a lot longer.”

He added: “I’ve signed with the Giants for a further five years, but you never know what’s round the corner in this game so the money raised is for the long-term future of me and my family.

“It’s all about having a fun time.’’
