Teenager in crash at Farnley Tyas

AN 18-year-old driver escaped serious injury when his car flipped on to its roof in Farnley Tyas.

The accident was at Thurstonland Road at 3pm on Wednesday.

The Peugeot 106 skidded on icy slush, hit a banking and landed on its roof.

The young man managed to escape with minor injuries.
