A ROAD worker was seriously injured when he was hit by a car on the M62. The Highways Agency employee was struck by a yellow Renault Clio at Junction 26 at Chain Bar. The 23-year-old, from Doncaster, who had been working in the central reservation, was hit as he crossed the westbound carriageway at 9.55pm on Monday.
