Huddersfield Hotel: A clarification
Jan 8 2010 by Sam Casey, Huddersfield Daily Examiner
THE Examiner yesterday published a story relating to conditions that have been imposed on the licence at Huddersfield Hotel.
The licence, which also covers the Mansion nightclub, is subject to a review which will take place within 28 days.
We are happy to clarify that the hotel remains open and the restaurant and bars are open to the public as normal.
The conditions imposed by Kirklees Council’s licensing committee are as follows: any function in the hotel must be a pre-booked event by a customer for their invited guests, for example a wedding reception; no open or entry-by-ticket events can be held in the hotel; and the company must give at least 14 days notice of any pre-booked events to the local authority.
