A PAEDOPHILE who sexually abused a young girl and took photographs on his mobile phone has been warned by a judge he may be jailed indefinitely for his offences.
Paul Shaw, 41, of Elder Road, Bradley, yesterday pleaded guilty to five charges relating to his abuse of the youngster, who cannot be identified for legal reasons.
He also admitted further allegations of causing or inciting the girl to engage in sexual activity and possessing indecent images of children.
He was granted bail until his sentencing at the end of March.
Shaw, who walked into the dock at Bradford Crown Court with the aid of a crutch, will now have to register as a sex offender with the police following his guilty pleas.
Prosecutor Peter Moulson told Judge Jonathan Rose that the crown would be opening the case against Shaw when he is sentenced on March 29 on the basis that the photographing of the sexual touching was an aggravating feature.
