Birdsgedge mum’s wedding photo misery turns to joy after company steps in with free albums

A PHOTO company has come to the rescue after a wedding photographer failed to come up with albums of the big day.
As reported last November, Birdsedge mum Roz Mears was fuming when her daughter’s wedding photographer failed to provide her albums.
Ms Mears hired Shepley wedding snapper John Edler to shoot her daughter Steph’s £20,000 big day last July.
But nearly four months after the fairytale wedding at Nostell Priory, Ms Mears had still not received more than £200 worth of wedding photos.
Last year Mr Edler told The Examiner he was having technical problems but claimed he would provide the missing wedding albums within weeks.
He also claimed Ms Mears didn’t have a “hope in hell” of getting her money back as timescales were not set in the contract. But more than three months after his promise Ms Mears has still not heard from him and has won a county court judgement to have her money refunded.
And now the disappointed mum also has her albums after Emley-based printers RiverDigital came to the rescue and gave her a host of free products.
