Birdsgedge mum’s wedding photo misery turns to joy after company steps in with free albums

The web-based-company produces online photo-books and photo-based gifts from digital pictures uploaded to their site.

After seeing the story in The Examiner, directors from the company, Ollie Renshaw and Jez Raby, stepped in and offered their assistance.

They printed three albums for her using her own home snaps.

And last week the duo turned up at Ms Mears’ home to surprise her with two printed canvases.

She said: “It’s absolutely great, it’s so lovely of them to do that. It’s something they didn’t have to do.

“It’s great for Steph because as the bride and groom you forget all about the day so the wedding pictures are the only thing you’ve got to remember it by.”

Ollie Renshaw, director of RiverDigital, said: “We were very happy that we could help in some way. It was worth it just to see the look on her face when we gave her the canvas.

“She loved them both, she’s delighted with her books and very happy with her canvas products.”

Ms Mears said her bailiffs were still pursuing Mr Edler after he failed to respond to a court summons.

She added: “The court gave him 28 days to respond and he ignored it. He was then given until November 28 to pay me and he ignored that as well.”
