Peter Jackson returns as manager...of care firm Caremark Calderdale

FORMER Town boss Peter Jackson is back in the manager’s seat – at a healthcare company.

The former Town chief, who is recovering from throat cancer, is joining his wife Alison, as a director of home care franchise Caremark Calderdale.

It provides care at home for elderly and disabled people as well as people with terminal illnesses across Calderdale.

Peter and Alison, a former nurse, have just completed their training and will run the franchise from the Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre, Halifax.

A former oncology and geriatric nurse, Alison, 50, also ran a Rosemary Conley Diet and Fitness franchise.

She will be responsible for managing the franchise’s staff while Peter will look after sales and marketing.

The pair, who live in Brighouse, will begin recruiting carers and a healthcare manager this month.
