Burnt pizza causes kitchen fire

A BURNT pizza caused a kitchen fire in Edgerton.

 A man went to bed and forgot he had left the pizza to cook for his supper in the oven. A smoke alarm raised the alarm at the flat in Glenside Close around 2.30am on Tuesday morning. Firefighters from Huddersfield attended and found everyone safe and well. The kitchen of the maisonette was badly smoke-damaged.
