General election 2010: Ed Balls and Shahid Malik visit Shelley College

THE education minister visited Shelley College.

Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families Ed Balls was shown round the school yesterday afternoon.

He was joined by Labour colleague Shahid Malik, who is defending the Dewsbury seat at the General Election on May 6.

Boundary changes this year have brought Shelley and other villages around Kirkburton and Denby Dale into the Dewsbury constituency.
