Gok Wan’s Fashion Fix comes to Scissett

A BOUTIQUE in Scissett has had a makeover thanks to fashion expert Gok Wan.

The owners of the Bespoke Boutique and Loft hair salon were stunned when the fashionista asked to use the Wakefield Road shop and salon as a base for a new episode of Gok’s Fashion Fix.

Owner Jeanette Seeley and son Dominic jumped at the chance and were surprised when he stayed there for seven hours.

Dominic, 18, said Gok told them he wished their shop was in London and nearer to where he lives and works.

Gok’s visit last Friday was part of the Channel 4 programme which starts its series on May 25.

Dominic said: “Gok was supposed to be at Cannon Hall and the programme makers asked if they could come here to get everyone ready.

“He was only supposed to be here for an hour but he stayed all day.

“He was really nice, so friendly and we were chatting away with him for ages.
