IT’S a storyline which will no doubt grip the nation.
Will Corrie’s Gail be sent down for murdering her husband?
Actor John Beagley of Beaumont Park is integral to the outcome – he’s to serve as a jury member in her TV trial.
John, known by his middle name of Bill, said he would not reveal the outcome – even if he knew – as two endings were filmed.
But he said it’s a storyline which was great fun to be part of.
Filming for the court scenes took place at Bradford Town Hall a month ago and is due to be broadcast over the week from Monday, May 31.
Mr Beagley, 68, said: “It’s all in the can and was great to film. It was in the town hall at Bradford in the old court rooms which is a tremendous place.
“I wouldn’t tell you the outcome even if I knew, but we filmed a ‘guilty’ ending and a ‘not guilty’ ending.
“I won’t know which one they go for until everyone else does.
“I saw the girl who plays Tracy Barlow and she was right on with her villainy, it was quite amazing.”
The storyline features Gail McIntyre, played by West Yorkshire actress Helen Worth, who is currently on remand for the murder of her husband Joe McIntyre.
