Variety Club treats youngsters to a grand day out

YOUNGSTERS from schools in Kirklees took part in a fun day organised by the Variety Club Children’s Charity. Pupils from Castle Hill School at Newsome and Nortonthope Hall School at Scissett, were among more than 300 disabled and disadvantaged children treated to a great day out at Harewood House. The youngsters, accompanied by carers and teachers, were given complimentary access to the attractions.The Variety Club treated the youngsters to an outdoor lunch, face-painting and entertainment.
