Huddersfield Town confirm Masters football line-up as they take on Barnsley, Sheffield United and others

TOWN have confirmed the line-up for their first foray into Masters football.

And the eight former Huddersfield greats will find themselves up against a current Town player.

Goalkeeper Ian Bennett, 38, signed last month by Town boss Lee Clark, is lining up between the posts for his former team Sheffield United in the Yorkshire heat of the popular competition.

The contest takes place at the Sheffield Arena on Sunday, July 25, with the winners going through to the national finals in September.

Town’s line-up for the day’s matches is Lee Martin, Adie Moses, Paul Reid, Steve Jenkins, Tom Cowan, Lee Duxbury, Craig Armstrong and Simon Baldry.

Another former Town star, Dean Gorre, is turning out for Barnsley as is Hade Edge-based Neil Redfearn

Barnsley return to the Arena as Yorkshire champions and are eager to hang on to their title.
