Brighouse friends host summer ball in memory of Shannen Harker

Alice and Jessica, both students at Huddersfield New College, Erika, a student at Leeds College of Art, and Shoni, who attends Rastrick Sixth Form, are hosting the ball on Friday, August 6 – the anniversary of Shannen’s death.

It will take place at Cedar Court Hotel, Ainley Top, and includes a three-course meal, live band and DJ, casino tables, auction and raffle.

Proceeds will be split between the West Yorkshire Forget Me Not Trust children’s hospice appeal and the Joseph Salmon Trust – which aims to offer financial assistance to people living in the Huddersfield and Mirfield areas, whose child has died.

The Joseph Salmon Trust supported Shannen’s family in the aftermath of her death.
