Marsh charity Joseph Salmon Trust’s accounts stolen in Edgerton burglary

“There’s no sensitive information on there, but we need it for the day-to-day running of the trust.”

This blow comes just days after the charity celebrated raising a staggering £26,000 with one event.

Fifty-five hikers and bikers, including people from the United States, Holland, Ireland, Scotland and England, tackled the 84-mile Hadrian’s Wall route for the charity.

Tuesday’s Examiner reported how the international group made their concerted effort after finding about the charity on an internet blog.

No-one witnessed Tuesday’s break-in, but police are investigating.
