A HUDDERSFIELD youngster could be a film star of the future.
Producers of a new British drama film are coming to West Yorkshire, looking for a lead character for their latest venture.
Details of the film are being kept under wraps, but the producers are looking for a 17 to 20-year-old white native Yorkshireman.
They say they want a skinhead type or a regular tough-looking working class lad to play a lead role in a feature film that is shooting in Yorkshire next month.
Casting assistant Lara Manwaring said: “As a casting company we regularly select for our films young people who have never acted before so no experience is necessary.
“Des Hamilton Casting are known in the film industry for launching the careers of kids who have never acted before, most notably Thomas Turgoose in ‘This is England’ and Jack McElhone in ‘Dear Frankie’.
“We will be up in Yorkshire this week and next and would to meet as many lads fitting the above description as possible when we are there”.
Young men interested in the opportunity should email Lara on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0207 253 5558.
