A MAN has been charged over an alleged attack that left another man with serious head injuries.
Harjinder Sandhu, of Norwood Road, Birkby, is accused of wounding following the incident on Butternab Road in Beaumont Park.
As reported in the Examiner, police were called to reports of a disturbance at a house at about 1.40am last Tuesday.
A party is understood to have been taking place at the house when an argument broke out.
A 42-year old man was taken to Huddersfield Royal Infirmary before being transferred to Leeds General Infirmary.
Police sealed off the road while they carried out investigations.
Mr Sandhu, 35, has been bailed to appear at Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court on September 23.
