Stacey Bywater – Holmfirth’s lottery millionaire
TEENAGER Stacey Bywater has never been scared of hard work.
But the 18-year-old full-time nursery nurse from Scholes might just be able to take life easier – after scooping a massive £1,117,779 on the National Lottery.
But the millionaire jackpot lifestyle didn’t kick in straight away – Stacey turned in for work as usual on Monday and Tuesday.
But yesterday, as she toasted her win in champagne, she promised to help all her family.
Her family had felt the pinch of the recession with her long distance truck driver dad Gary, 49, seeing his three daughters only at weekends, and her sister Kirsty, 21, losing her retail job last week.
Now, the millionaire teenager aims to spread her good fortune by moving her dad, sisters and mum Linda Goldring, 52, out of their council house and treating them to a holiday in Turkey.
She attended a Camelot press conference yesterday.
Stacey said: “It will change my life a lot, it will never be the same again.
“With the recession, like a lot of families we haven’t had that much money, we get by on my dad’s wages and I work full time.
