FRI AM: Cig butt sparks Brighouse tree blaze

A 25ft conifer caught fire in Brighouse last night.

Fire crews were called to the blazing tree in a garden at the junction of Field Lane and Field Top Road at 7pm.

It is believed a cigarette end accidently started the fire, next to a pavement.

The flames were extinguished and nobody was injured.
