Casting sessions for new feature film

WANNABE actors can take the chance of film stardom on Monday.

Film company See No Evil Productions are looking for extras for a Huddersfield-based feature film.

The film will be set in the 1970s and filming will take place throughout the region on various dates throughout September.

Huddersfield film-maker Ben Sweet, who is working on the project, has organised a casting session to be held at the North Light Gallery, Bankfoot Lane, Armitage Bridge, on Monday between 10am and 6pmm

He said: “The film will be based on true events. Speak No Evil is the story of a down-to-earth Yorkshire family and the malevolent spirit who turns their existence upside down.

“The film company from London have chosen Huddersfield as the location. It’s a great opportunity for the people of Huddersfield to appear on the big screen and also to show off Huddersfield as a centre for making great films.

“After all its got a great history of making films for the last hundred years with Bamforths and Summer Wine”.
