‘Spectacular’ fountain after water pipe bursts in Crosland Moor
A spokesman for Yorkshire Water said: “It looks pretty spectacular and it is pretty big.
“The pressure is making the water spray right up into the air because it’s coming through a very narrow hole.
“We’re on site and we are dealing with this problem as quickly as possible.
“We apologise for any disruption this has caused and we are confident that it will be fixed very shortly.
“It was reported to us at about 3.30 in the afternoon. A few residents in the very immediate area were affected but the problem was resolved as quickly as possible.”
