The farm’s shop and restaurant at Sunnyside Farm at Netherton Moor were lost in a blaze in July this year.
About 200 chickens died, but all other livestock, including three alpacas, survived.
Firefighters were able to cool propane gas cylinders at the site to prevent them from exploding.
Since then, the family have submitted a planning application to Kirklees Council for permission to set up a temporary building to replace the restaurant, farm shop and butchery.
Simon said: “We hope it’ll be built by November, in time for Christmas.
“We’re doing our best – it’s been very difficult for us.
“We’ve been farming in this area since the 1960s and have suffered the occasional barn fire before, but nothing as bad as this.
“We’re starting from scratch because everything was destroyed.”
At the moment, some produce is being sold from a temporary marquee.
