Hollybank Trust art students to exhibit and sell their work

BETWEEN them they’ve produced a series of stunning pieces of contemporary artwork.

And now the students of the Hollybank Trust are excited to announce it will go on show and up for sale.

The Trust, which cares for children, young people and adults with profound disabilities, has long encouraged their students to get arty.

And they’ve used the latest technology to allow the students with complex medical needs to produce some imaginative pieces.

Students have worked alone and have also collaborated on group work which Stewart Geddes, of the Trust, said allowed them to produce their own conversation to the world.

They’ve now been offered space at picture framers and gallery Lenscape of Mirfield to show and sell their work to the public.

It includes abstract art canvasses and digital sound art.

Mr Geddes, Hollybank’s enrichment programme manager, said: “This new partnership is the latest in a string of achievements made by our artists.
