Anrich Veterinary Surgery in Aspley flooded with calls after Examiner appeal over abandoned kittens
A VETS’ practice has been inundated after an appeal in the Examiner to find new homes for abandoned kittens.
As reported on Saturday, a box containing a cat and her four newborn kittens was left outside Anrich Veterinary Surgery at Wakefield Road in Aspley.
The surgery asked for help – and was flooded with enquiries.
Veterinary nurse Heather Bates said: “Every other call on Saturday was about the cats and we are still getting them.
“We have a home for every one now and I have directed about 50 or 60 people to the RSPCA.”
Three kittens will go to their new homes within a fortnight.
