Quiz mum Becky Ashwell loses in The Weakest Link

A LOCAL mum lost out in the final of TV quiz The Weakest Link. Becky Ashwell, of Roberttown, a mother of two, made it to a nailbiting final of the general knowledge quiz.

The episode was shown on BBC1 at 5:15pm on Wednesday. Mrs Ashwell’s daughters Georgia, nine, and Emily, five, encouraged their mum to apply.

They enjoyed watching the show at home together and thought their mum was as good as the contestants on the TV.
