They are looking at films from several cameras.
The 19-year-old girl was attacked outside the Warehouse, on Zetland Street, in the early hours of Tuesday following a night out.
She had been with friends in a takeaway at about 3.30am, but left to go to the toilet.
A man then offered to take her to the nearest toilet, but led her to a screened area outside the Warehouse and assaulted her.
The victim, who is from Chesterfield, said he was white, in his mid-30s, about 6ft tall and stockily built.
He was wearing a black duffel coat, black bottoms, white trainers and a black woollen hat.
